Yes, you read that right. A graduation (of sorts). Today I graduated from physical therapy. 2 months ago and one week ago I could not tie my own shoes, wash my own hair, get water out of the fridge, stand for longer than 3 minutes or sit up for longer than like 1. Seriously. It was that bad.
NOW I can do whatever I want. I really attribute this to my wonderful physical therapist, Brooke Dickmeyer. She helped me make this great plan and I've worked at it almost every night to get there...and here I am!
Here's to hoping my back stays healthy! Also, NO SURGERY!!! I went back to Rebound and everything came out positive! The little nodule isn't connected - just looked like it on the Xray last time. So that is another success!
SO here's to my first "back problem free" school year in Camas :-)
We got married on July 17, 2009. Now it is on to the rest of our lives...

week in pictures. catch up edition.
Wow. I sure fell behind on the "sunday snapshot's" I'd been doing. I blame part of it on my back and the rest on summer. My days often blended together :) Which, trust me, I'm not complaining about!
So here you go. My favorites, one from every week, from my last sunday snapshot on May 23rd. WOW! You can always go here to see what your favorites are! Enjoy!

Just seeing the sheer size of it, amazing.
Seriously scary!
Very sad. Look at his eye, he looks utterly terrified.
This picture almost makes me motion sick just looking at it.
I'd love to see the Northern Lights someday!
Very serious. Very brave.
HOLY HECK! I cannot even imagine!!! I don't enjoy water that much and I don't think I'd even be able to get in the water here!!!
Power.
What luck to catch it on video/picture. I'm not sure people would have believed it if it hadn't been.
I sure do LOVE bears. BUT this makes me sad because this little tiny polar bear is close to this huge ship! I mean, a great photo, but sad ramifications of how used to us wildlife is.
Quite a lot of kites!
Whoops!

emily visits...
My 20 year old cousin Emily came out the first week of August to visit all of our family. She stayed with us for a few days and my parents for a few days. It was definitely most I've done in a consecutive week this summer, besides when I was on family vacation. We ate out a lot, went to the beach for a day, went to the zoo, went and say "South Pacific" at the Keller, she and my mom went to Ft. Vancouver. Here are a few pictures from our adventures.
Tuesday - The Beach. Cannon Beach and Astoria

Belllingham bound...
...for a fabulous wedding! Our good friends Adam and Katie got married last weekend at the Hotel Bellwether in Bellingham, WA!!!
Jason was very honored to be a part of their wedding festivities! While he was off gallivanting before the wedding I was enjoying a bubble bath in a huge jetted tub, BRAVO on TV (we don't get that station and it is my favorite!), and relaxing in a huge bed in a bathrobe :)
We also put the new camera to some use and found out one funny thing...it is not a good idea to use the manual focus when you've been drinking. It makes pictures blurry ;-)
