becoming home...

Things are moving along in our new house. We've been officially in for 10 days and it has been such a stress reliever. We had the help of my parents and Jason's Dad and Penny for the big move and we are all glad it is the last one for a handful of years! Jason has proved himself to be an up-and-coming handy-husband and is really interested and willing to do projects...I sure hope that this traits sticks around for a while! I got the flu this week (thankfully the 24 hour version) and Jason bought be an "organizing magazine" - his words - to read. What he didn't realize when he did this was that it would have SO many good ideas that our house needs that he'd get to do! Something tells me he won't make that mistake again ;-)

While we aren't 100% unpacked or 100% painted it is slowly becoming our house. We have a new couch :), our big screen TV back, and the promise of helping sewing some curtains this coming weekend. Our garage looks like a recycling center and our stuff is anxiously awaiting a new bookshelf that we haven't bought yet.

With our first holiday under our belt, Halloween, we are looking forward to the rest and spending them in our house - together! I cannot wait to have our stocking by our fireplace and our tree in our family room. Life is going good at the Eeds Household. Now, I need to change my name and we'll be on our way to being officially official!

Pictures of our house will be in the next post. Everything isn't in its place yet but just wanted to update everyone :-)
